First of all, my apologies for missing a post yesterday! My internet access was being denied and I was unable to reach a connection. I am still confused as to why this happened and now, because of it, I must bring you up to speed!
Yesterday I viewed C.R.A.Z.Y, a French film by set in the 70's following Zac, a young boy trying to find himself amongst his four eccentric brothers and oppressive father. Don't be swayed by the films seemingly grim outlook. It is beautifully filmed with touching characters, coy humour and an artistic, smooth style that makes for a visual delight. I was impressed with the creative use of sound and silence, either used to propel an emotion or event. With a soundtrack boasting David Bowie, The Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd, I'll be sure to hunt this, and the copy of the movie down. *adds to birthday wishlist*
Film Count: 23 out of 365
