Clap Your Hands, Say Nerd!

You know you're in a university library when the graffiti is not only grammatically coherent... but considerate!

While struggling to balance 12 books in one hand, I managed to slip by the beloved Film section and hire out Six Degrees of Separation... and wow, it could not have been anymore different to what I was expecting. It's very talky, yes, but what's more confronting is the cyclical storytelling structure. Eccentric, unusual characters, hazy motivations and confronting editing all sound rather bad, don't they? But it's not. Really.

Law Abiding Citizen was last night's treat... the boy assured me there was no need to cover my eyes, before remembering suddenly of the horrific torture scene only when it was too late. Argh. Still, blood aside, brilliant movie! I was so utterly impressed with the new take on the revenge genre of films that moved viewers to actually feel sorry for the rapist, and despise the innocent man looking for vengence. Rent it out, you'll see why.

Film Count: 10 and 11 out of 365
