Inbetween playing around with novelty 3d glasses, Matt, Ben and I continued filming at my place as we needed to capture the final few shots for my short film. The point of all this fuss was to create a 2minute short, following a person or a thing for an entire day, filming it in a way that told a clear, concise story but successfully showed the passing of time. Short films can be constricting so storyboarding is your friend!
Last night I watched Sunshine Cleaning, which was such a cool twist on storylines. It would be difficult trying to convince people to watch two sisters mop up pools of blood and dispose of any remains in a crime scene. But this is very enjoyable and lighthearted. Starring the adorable Amy Adams and Emily Blunt (Devil Wears Prada), one playing a confused single mother, the latter a troubled mischief maker, they find stability in their lives in the strangest of careers. I recommend it!
